The AI Lodge Hackathon is your opportunity to turn everything you've learnt throughout AI Lodge into something real. Whether you're solving an everyday inconvenience, reimagining how people work, tackling challenges in AI safety, or building something completely out of the box, we want to see what you can create.

This hackathon is all about creativity, experimentation, and building with AI. This is your chance to experiment, challenge yourself, and create something you're proud of. We looking forwards to your interesting ideas and thoughtful builds!

Build consumer-facing products that integrate into everyday life, making daily activities more convenient, enjoyable, or accessible.

2) Productivity & Workflows
Develop tools that integrate into work or school environments to help individuals and teams work smarter, automate repetitive tasks, and improve efficiency.

3) Safety by Design
Create solutions that address AI security risks, showcase and close existing safety gaps, or make AI systems safer and more trustworthy.

4) Solving a Business Problem
Build tools or platforms that tackle real business challenges, eliminate friction in existing processes, or create new opportunities for businesses.

5) Open Category
Go wild! Build anything you're passionate about, for any audience, in any domain.

Projects will be judged on:

• how meaningfully AI is used
• how AI safety and guardrails is built into project
• the real-world value it creates

• AI Integration Effectiveness
  Evaluates how effectively and creatively AI is integrated into the solution, considering technical execution, system reliability, and whether AI provides meaningful functionality beyond a generic LLM wrapper.
• LLM Safety & Responsible AI
  Evaluates how well lodgers identify potential AI risks, test their systems against failure scenarios, and implement practical safeguards to ensure responsible and reliable use of AI.
• Usefulness & Business Value
  Evaluates how clearly the project addresses a real user problem, the value it delivers to its target audience, and the originality of its idea, approach, and execution.
